of our dreams. Shelton Pointe was the location and now we needed
a builder. We were introduced to KTL and they could not have
been any more accommodating. We had our own plans and Karen
and Joe took it from there. We four worked together making every
thought count. The door for the walk-up attic seemed to be a
problem (not knowing where to put it) but Joe new just what
to do. They made our experience with building a real joy, not
a nightmare. Their material quality and workmanship was awesome.

Dear Joe and Karen
This letter is a bit overdue, but I just wanted you to know
what a pleasure it’s been getting to know you and how
proud we are to call our new house a home!
Jeff and I thoroughly enjoyed working with you, Danny, Scott,
Robbie, Walter and most of your Subcontractors. It’s
unfortunate that more people don’t conduct their business
the way you do. In a world where everyone is looking out for
themselves, it seems so unlikely to meet someone with the
ethics you two have. Through the whole process, from signing
the contract to “closing” we felt that you truly
wanted us to be satisfied with our purchase.
Our respect for you was recently solidified when you came
to fix our toilet knowing that the problem was caused by “owner
error”. I have to ask myself how many builders or contractors
would do that. I feel confident in saying NONE.
I’ve heard so many unpleasant stories of custom building;
I can honestly say this experience has been a pleasure. Not
only did we get a home with a little bit of heart but we have
gotten to know two people that we can admire.
When and if we ever venture down this road again, we hope
you will still be in the business of building homes!
